RGIPT Amethi Institute Fees / Hostel Fees
The fee structure of the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) is designed to cover academic, hostel, and student welfare expenses while ensuring affordability for reserved-category students. For the academic session, the first-semester fee payable at admission is ₹1.52 lakh for GEN/OBC/EWS students and ₹1.27 lakh for SC/ST/PwD students, which includes one-time admission charges, refundable caution money, and semester fees. From the second semester onwards, students are required to pay ₹1.37 lakh per semester (GEN/OBC/EWS) and ₹1.12 lakh per semester (SC/ST/PwD). RGIPT provides a tuition fee concession to SC/ST/PwD students, reducing the tuition component to ₹75,000 per semester.
Additionally, all students must pay a mess advance of ₹20,000 per semester, which is adjusted against actual mess expenses at the end of the academic year. The application portal for Round 1 opens on 1 June 2026 and remains active until 21 June 2026. Auditorium The institute has a well-equipped auditorium that serves a variety of purposes such as guest lecturers, speaker sessions and a variety of cultural programmes.
Transport Facility The Institute maintains its own bus fleet to meet the transportation needs of its students, employees, and visitors. These buses connect the university to the rest of the city. The buses may be boarded at specified pick-up sites, which is convenient for students.
Guest Room/Waiting Room The institute has a guest house and waiting room for visiting faculty members and the parents of the students.

RGIPT B.Tech Merit List 2025-26- Key Points
- The authorities will release the RGIPT B.Tech 2026 merit list in online mode as a PDF file.
- The merit list will be prepared on the basis of JEE Advanced ranks of the candidates and branch preferences set by the candidates.
- RGIPT B.Tech merit list 2025 will contain the registration number and name of the selected candidates.
- It must be noted that the authorities will first release a provisional merit list and selected candidates will have to pay the registration fee. After this, the authorities will release different merit lists for candidates who paid the registration fee.
- The authorities will release the merit list of RGIPT B.Tech for four disciplines- Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics Engineering.
- It should be noted that a separate merit list will be released for each category of candidates for each of the four B.Tech programs.

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) Amethi has released its Round 1 JoSAA 2025 cutoff ranks for B.Tech admissions. The cutoffs reflect a competitive admission landscape, especially for top branches like Computer Science and Engineering and Mathematics & Computing. The Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) program closed at AIR 14,179 (General) and 2,531 (EWS), with OBC-NCL and SC closing at 6,253 and 2,402, respectively.
