RV College of Engineering (RVCE) is a self-financing Engineering College (AICTE approved) which was established in the year 1963 with only three branches of Engineering: Civil, Electrical & Mechanical. RCVE offers 12 specializations under UG Programmes in Engineering, 16 specializations under Master’s Degree programmes and Doctoral studies. RCVE offers admission to over 1200 students per year. Calls are assigned to the technicians and after completion, the status is updated. The activity is being managed internally. An in-house I.T Maintenance team comprising of experienced Networking professionals handles the I.T Infrastructure – Computer Labs, Computers, Browsing Centre, Servers, Data Centre, Internet, Firewall, etc of College/Departments on a daily basis. At the Departmental level, Computer labs are also maintained by the I.T Coordinators of the respective departments who handle any minor software or hardware issues.
Cafeteria The food court of the college is very spacious and can accommodate almost a thousand students at once. It offers fresh and delicious food cooked in a hygienic environment.
Transport Facility The campus being 12Kms from the heart of the city and more then 20Km from suburban areas of the city, the college provides transportation facility for both students and staff.There are sufficient buses which take care of commutation of about one thousand students. There are two exclusive buses for the staff.The city metropolitan transport service also runs city buses from important areas of city to the college.
