GATE 2027 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who wish to appear for the exam need to fulfill the GATE 2027 eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria of GATE 2027 comprise education qualification, age, domicile, and much more. Candidates who meet the GATE exam eligibility criteria can give the GATE exam. However, the candidates need to complete the GATE entrance exam 2027 registration before the last date. The authorities will release the GATE exam eligibility 2027 along with the official notification.
- A candidate who is currently studying in the 3rd or higher years of any undergraduate degree program OR has already completed any government-approved degree program in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts is eligible for appearing in the GATE 2027 exam.

Steps to fill GATE registration form 2027
- The first step is registration for GATE 2027. Candidates have to register for the GATE exam through the GOAPS 2027 portal. The GATE 2027 registration will include details like the Candidate’s first, middle name, and surname, valid email id, country of residence, Mobile Number, and password. After adding the details, candidates have to enter the OTP received on the mobile number and registered Email ID. A unique enrollment ID will be allotted to the successfully registered candidates.

The General Aptitude (GA) section was trickier this year, with students reporting unexpectedly complex reasoning and language-based questions, around 65% of candidates rated the exam as moderate to difficult, while 35% found it manageable.
GATE COAP 2027
Common Offer Acceptance Portal, also known as COAP is a portal that provides a common platform for candidates who wish to get admission to the M.Tech programmes in the participating institutes or job offers from participating public sector unit (PSUs). Candidates having valid GATE scores 2026 need to register at COAP and at the institute’s portal for admission. All the participating IITs and IISc Bangalore will publish seat allotment result at the COAP portal. Using the COAP portal 2026, candidates will have to check their seat allotment status and accept/ reject the seat.
CCMT 2027
The full form of CCMT is Centralized Counselling for M.Tech / M.Arch / M.Plan Admission. The admission to the M.Tech / M.Arch / M.Plan programmes offered at all NITs, IIEST Shibpur, some IIITs, and CFITs is done through the CCMT portal. Candidates having valid GATE scores need to register at the CCMT portal. The authority releases the seat allotment result at the CCMT portal.
