MHT CET Counselling 2022: The Maharashtra CET Cell has started MHT CET 2022 counselling. The counselling registration is open now and the last date for registration of applications and uploading of required documents on the official website by October 4. Further, the display of the provisional merit list for Maharashtra State/All India candidates on the website will be done on October 7. The final merit list will be out on October 12.
The complete process of MHT CET counselling includes registering online, uploading scanned documents and paying the required counselling fee to participate in the counselling. The documents of students will be verified online by the counselling authority. After document verification, choice filling for MHT CET counselling 2022 will start and seat allotment will be made in two rounds. Candidates who will be allotted seats will have to confirm their admission online by paying the seat confirmation fees and reporting to the allotted institute. MHT CET Counselling Process 2022 : Registration, Choice fill
Candidates participating in MHT CET 2022 Counselling first have to register themselves. The detailed steps for the registration are mentioned below:
Step 1 – Registration
Click on “New Registration” after visiting the official website. After generating your password, fill in your personal, contact and security details. See the table below to have a clear idea as to how to fill the details at each step.

Selection of Password: A password has to be created after submitting the required details. The listed policies have to be correctly followed while creating the password:
- Password must be 8 to 13 characters long
- Password must have at least one upper and lower case alphabet.
- At least one numeric value must be present in the password.
- Password must contain at least one special character i.e., [email protected]#$%^&*-
Step 2 – Selection of Details on Types of Candidature
While registering, the candidates will have to select their type of candidature according to their category. The selection has to be done from the following categories by the candidates as per their eligibility:
- Maharashtra State Candidature (Type A/B/C/D/E)
- OMS
- J&K Migrant Applicant
- Foreign Students
- NRI
- PIO/OCI
- CIWGC
- GoI
Step 3 – Enter Qualification and Examination Details
Submit your class X and XII subject wise and overall marks along with the name of the school board. Also, enter all the information related to the qualifying degree.
Step 4 – Uploading of Scanned Images
Next, submit the scanned photograph and signature according to the specifications tabulated below:

Step 5 – Payment of Counselling Fees
After submitting all of the required information and scanned images, the candidates will have to pay the counselling fees. The payment of the counselling fees has to be done in online mode.

Step 6 – Take Print out of Counselling Application Form
After payment of the counselling fees, take the printout of the filled-in application form and present it for verification at the facilitation centres
Reporting at Admission Facilitation Centres (AFC)
Successfully registered candidates will have to report to the admission facilitation centres for verification of documents. Original documents along with a set of self-attested copies have to be presented at the facilitation centres. Candidates who do not report at the facilitation centre will not be allowed to proceed further in the admission process.

Selection of College and Course
Login to your account and select the choice of college and course. Minimum 1 and Maximum 300 options can be selected by the candidates. All of the options have to be selected in order of preference since this factor will also be taken into consideration during the allotment of seats.
MHT CET Counselling 2022 Seat Allotment
The allotment of seats in participating institutes is carried out through the Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) based on Merit Ranking and Choice Filling. Candidates will be able to check their allotment status by providing an Application ID and Date of Birth. The allotment of seats also depends upon the availability of seats. The allotment list will be published only in online mode.
Reporting at Admission Reporting Centres
After allotment, the candidates will have to report at the reporting centre to “freeze”, “float” or “slide” their allotted seat.
- If the candidates do not wish to participate in the further round of seat allotment, then they will have to select “Freeze”.
- The option of “Slide” can be used if the candidate accepts the allotted seat but is open for admission into a higher preferred course within the same institute.
- “Float” is used when the candidate accepts the allotted seat but shows interest if any choice of course or college that is more preferred by the candidate is open for admission in the further rounds of allotment.

Reporting at Allotted Institute
Candidates will finally have to report to their allotted institutes to complete the admission process. Payment of the balance fees has to be done to confirm the allotted seats. The confirmation process has to be completed before the final date.
MHT CET Cutoff 2022
Candidates will be provided here MHT CET 2022 cutoff after the official announcement. The counselling authority will release a separate MHT CET cutoff 2022 for all rounds of counselling. It should be noted that the Maharashtra CET 2022 cutoff will be available college and course wise for all the institutes and rounds of counselling.

MHT CET Counselling 2022 Reservation Policy
Only the candidates belonging to Maharashtra will be eligible for reservation in the MHT CTE 2022 counselling process. The seats available in engineering/pharmacy courses in various colleges across the state will be filled as per the reservation policy of the state government. These reservations are only applicable for MHT CET 2022 Centralized Admission Process (CAP). The division of seats across various categories are as below
