The Maharashtra CET Cell has started the MHT CET Counselling 2024 website. The details about MHT CET 2024 counselling dates and various processes involved in the admission/counselling will be announced soon. As per the notification, the MHT CET 2024 CAP counselling registration process will commence on July 14, 2024.
There will be 3 rounds in MHT CET counselling and seat allotment process. To participate in the MHT CET counselling, candidates need to register online at the counseling portal, upload scanned documents and pay the required counselling fee. After registration, the CET Cell will release a merit list of registered candidates considering their class 12 and CET marks. The allotment of seats will be based on position in the MHT CET merit list 2024.
CET Cell will announce MHT CET 2024 Seat Allotment results based on the CET web options entry. Selected candidates will have to accept the seats and report to the allotted institute with the specified date and time.
- It is important to note that candidates who will MHT CET 2024 will not be charged any counseling fee. However, JEE Main 2024 candidates applying for CAP Counselling must pay the MHT CET counselling fee.
- Once the seat allotment results are declared, candidates must report to the designated institute and pay the requisite amount of fee and by submitting the required documents.
- CET Cell will release MHT CET 2024 Cut off ranks after each round of counselling. Based on the previous year cut off ranks, candidates aiming for admission to COEP require ranks below 3000. Check MHT CET Cut off 2024

MHT CET Counseling 2024 Dates (Engineering)
The counselling schedule for MHT CET 2024 for PCB and PCM stream is yet to be released officially by the State CET Cell, Maharashtra. As per the notification, the MHT CET 2024 CAP counselling registration process will commence on July 14, 2024. Once the notification is released officially, we will update the important dates inside the table below.

MHT CET Counselling Registration 2024
The MHT CET 2024 counselling process is entirely conducted online. Below are the steps involved in the MHT CET 2024 counselling registration:
Step 1: Registration
- Visit the official website and fill in personal, communication, and security details.
- Generate a password and provide remaining information including qualification and examination details.
Step 2: Uploading Scanned Images
- Upload scanned images of your photograph and signature.
- Ensure the photograph is between 4KB to 100KB in size with dimensions 3.5*4.5cm.
- The signature should be between 1KB to 30KB in size with dimensions 3.5*1.5cm.
Step 3: Payment of Counselling Fees
- Pay the counselling fees online based on your category:
- General Category, Outside Maharashtra State Applicant, and Children of Indian workers in Gulf Countries: Rs 800 (Tentative).

Documents Required for MHT CET Counselling 2024
The documents required for the MHT-CET counselling venue are as follows:
- School/College ID Card, Aadhar Card, or any other valid photo ID proof.
- MHT CET 2024 Exam Hall Ticket and Mark sheet.
- Nationality Certificate issued by the District Magistrate/Additional District Magistrate or Metropolitan Magistrate (competent authority for issuing such a certificate). MHT CET 2024 Counselling Process
The MHT CET counselling process is initiated after the completion of the online application process for Centralized Admission Process (CAP). In order to participate in the MHT CET counselling, candidates are required to register for CAP through the designated official website. MHT CET 2024: Applicability of Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS)
The examination authority reserves 5% of seats in engineering/pharmacy courses offered by various colleges under the Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS). This scheme is applicable only for institutes where 30% of seats are filled through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). Under TFWS, only the tuition fee is waived.
Candidates belonging to the Maharashtra Candidature category are eligible to register for admission in engineering/pharmacy courses under the TFWS. However, it is important to note that MHT CET 2024 qualified candidates must meet the eligibility criteria, which includes their parent’s family income not exceeding Rs. 6,00,000 per annum.
MHT CET Merit List 2024
The merit list for MHT CET 2024, along with the announcement of results, will be published online by the Maharashtra State Cell. Initially, the CET cell will release a provisional merit list, allowing students to raise challenges if necessary.
