Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET), is a state-level entrance test used to select applicants for admission to engineering and pharmacy programs at various colleges throughout Maharashtra. The exam is conducted every year by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell. The authority will conduct the MHT CET exam in online mode.
The Maharashtra CET Cell has revised the MHT CET exam date 2024. The Maharashtra CET Cell has REVISED the MHT CET 2024 exam date for engineering and pharmacy courses again due to Lok Sabha Elections in Maharashtra. As per the revised schedule, MHT CET 2024 exam date for engineering is May 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17 and the PCB exam will be conducted on April 22, 23, 24, 28, 29 & 30.
There are 3 question papers in the MHT CET 2024 examination. Paper 1 is Mathematics; Paper 2 is Physics and Chemistry combined, and Paper 3 is Biology. Candidates willing to join the Engineering course should appear for Papers 1 and 2. Aspirants of Pharmacy courses should appear for Papers 2 and 3.
Important points related to the MHT CET 2024 exams are
- The questions in MHT CET 2024 will be based on the class 11 and 12 syllabus prescribed by the State Council of Educational Research and Training, Maharashtra
- Approximately 20% weightage will be given to the class 11 syllabus and 80% weightage to the class 12 syllabus while setting the question paper
- There will be NO Negative Marking in MHT CET but the difficulty level of the exam will be similar to JEE Mains.
- MHT CET 2024 PCM exam will consist of 2 sections, each of which will be 100 marks. The first section will be on Mathematics and the second section of Physics and chemistry. Similarly, In the PCB exam, the first section will be Biology and the second section of Physics and Chemistry.
- The question paper will be set on the complete syllabus of class 12 while only a few topics listed below will be considered for the exam.

MHT cell will release the exam day guidelines for MHT CET 2023 along with the admit card details on the official website. MHT CET 2023 exam day guidelines need to be followed by every student who is appearing for the exam.
