New updates on IIT Kharagpur Placements 2025: According to the media reports, IIT Kharagpur Placement 2025 Phase 1 is scheduled for December 1- December 14, 2024. Further, Phase 2 of the placement is scheduled for the First week of January 2025 till the end of April 2025. IIT-KGP has already received over 1000 offers, including 20 International offers, in the first 3 days of the Phase 1 placements.
The highlight of the placement was the Highest Package received on the 1st day of the placement of Rs. 2.14 CPA. Over 11 students received a package of more than Rs. 1 CPA during the first Phase of the placements. IIT Kharagpur facilities include separate hostels for boys and girls, a library, cafeteria, classrooms and labs, sports, auditoriums and many more. Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur also has sports facilities for students who want to participate in sports. Students can participate in sports such as hockey, football, cricket and athletics.
Apart from these, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur campus also has a fully modernized aquatic centre for sports like swimming and water polo. All everyday necessities can be found inside the IIT Kharagpur campus’ “Tech Market,” which is a one-stop shop. Five kilometers away from the IIT Kharagpur campus, there are markets that are conveniently reachable in case of special needs.
Girls Hostel IIT Kharagpur has 5 halls for girls which is fully furnished with modern amenities and has all of the necessary facilities.
Medical/Hospital The B.C. Roy Technology Hospital, which offers indoor and outdoor medical facilities, is available to campus residents. There is also a counseling center to which all students, faculty, and staff have access.
Library Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur has a central library. There are various printed resources available at the IIT Kharagpur library, which also has access to and a subscription to a number of national and international print periodicals as well as a collection of theses, micro documents, CDs, video cassettes, and reports. Sports Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur has two stadiums. There is also an indoor squash court, indoor badminton courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and table tennis facilities.
