The highest and average package offered was INR 65.46 LPA and INR 20.46 LPA during IIT Hyderabad placements 2023, respectively. Out of 781 and 666 registered for placements. As per the placement statistics 2023, 141 number of companies released job offers during IIT Hyderabad placement drive 2023. However, 330 companies registered and 586 students received, which includes 46 international offers. The college offers 14 BTech and 23 MTech programmes, respectively.
The college also completed a placement drive in two phases: Phase One (July 2022 to December 2022) and Phase Two (January 2023 to April,2023). In Phase One, a job interview was conducted in the month of December. IT, Circuit, PSU, Core, Automotive, Banking and Finance, Healthcare, Pharma, R&D, Construction, and Education are some of the common sectors. The second phase, however, involves a job interview, which takes place annually between January and April. In addition to the fields covered in Phase 1—education, manufacturing, and startups—diverse fields are also covered in Phase 2 interviews.

Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad facilities and infrastructure aid a student’s growth into becoming skilled professionals. Apart from comfortable accommodation, the campus is well equipped to ensure the overall development of the students. Alongside regular IIT Hyderabad facilities like wifi connectivity, libraries, sports facilities, and medical help, the university campus has been designed with radiant cooling techniques. Students can get hands-on experience working on real case studies and experiments in the labs and look after their health by accessing the gym facilities.
The truth is that these IITH facilities play a crucial role in enhancing both teachers’ and students’ job performance. In such a situation, it will be prudent for us to evaluate the role of the various campus facilities and discuss their impact on building a bright future for students.
Boys Hostel IITH offers very comfortable accommodation for its students. To beat the heat during summer the hostels are designed with radiant cooling technique. Every student is provided a single room with basic infrastructure such as bed, cupboard and a study table.
Girls Hostel IIT Hyderabad provides separate accommodation facilities to the girls. Hostels are designed with radiant cooling techniques to beat the heat during summer. Every student is provided a single room with basic infrastructures such as bed, cupboard and a study table.
Medical/Hospital For its pharmacy needs within the campus, the IITH clinic has teamed up with Apollo. In compliance with CGHS guidelines, Apollo offers 24*7 assistance with cashless facilities for students and faculty. Pathology laboratory programs are managed by Tesla diagnostics.
Gym Gymnasium facilities with a physical trainer are available at the hostel. In addition to the common gym that is open to all tenants, a separate mini gym in the girls’ hostel is also given for girls.
Library A wide selection of reference books, textbooks, technical reports, standards, books on literature and CD ROMS is available in the Library. With a completely integrated multi-user Library Management Programme, the Library is smoothly managed.
Sports The institute provides ample motivation for everyone to succeed in any of the multitudes of activities and skills available. Facilities are given for cricket, volleyball, soccer, basketball, table tennis, etc. The college also recognises other sports facilities such as badminton, basketball, swimming, etc. from local stadiums
I.T Infrastructure Internet, computer centre and other IT related facility available on the college campus.
Cafeteria A canteen serving snacks, non-veg food and general fast food is available. Juices, milk items, and snacks are served in a few cafeterias. Shiru Cafe is the first out of Japan on the IITH campus.
Auditorium The IIT Hyderabad infrastructure is well recognised. It was designed by Japanese engineers and has many spacious classrooms that are completely air-conditioned, as well as a large auditorium, which is also very impressive in terms of space and infrastructure.
Transport Facility IITH has limited transport facility for its students, staff and faculty. There are regular services from the nearest railway station Lingampally to the campus and back. The schedule of services can be found here.
Alumni Associations The IITH has good networking for the alumni association.
Wifi There is a free wi-fi facility at IIIT Hyderabad. With two roaming SSIDs – wifi@iiith and wifi2@iiith – they have Wi-Fi routers. The latter has a system for web-captive authentication and is thus used only in academic buildings.
Laboratories The Institute has well-equipped, air-conditioned computer labs that are assigned to the students batch-wise. They feature the latest software and hardware. 1:2 is the average PC-to-student ratio. Both machines are part of an intranet (1Gbps Backbone) that links all houses, including round-the-clock hostels.
Classrooms IIT Hyderabad is well developed and well furnished. Both classrooms and lecture halls have well-equipped air conditioners.
Convenience Store Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad provides a convenience store facility offering facilities such as photocopying and stationery services, etc. Within the institute campus, there is a stationery shop for students’ everyday shopping needs.
