IIT Dhanbad Facilities
Spread over 218 acres of land at IIT (ISM), Dhanbad strives to provide the best education along with world-class facilities to its students. Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad facilities and infrastructure consists of a central library, sports arenas, well-equipped classrooms and laboratories, hostels, recreational centres, etc. There are 9 hostels on the campus having a facility for accommodation for girls and boys separately. The Central Library which is open 12 hours a day has a huge database of books, journals, thesis, research papers, etc. They also have licensed e-resources.
Medical/Hospital The state-of-the-art health facilities available in the college, in addition to a 24*7 ambulance service and campus security.
Gym The college has Gym facility for the students.
Library The Central Library of the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) is a seven-storey fully air-conditioned building. The central library has a facility of a reading hall on the seventh floor and a cafeteria on the ground floor.
Sports The college has sports facilities for all students. IIT (ISM) Dhanbad provides indoor and outdoor sports facilities such as badminton, football, basketball, table tennis, etc are available for the students.
