MP BE Counselling 2024: The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Madhya Pradesh will start the MP BE 2024 counselling process in 14 June 2024. Candidates can participate in the MP BE counselling process if and only if they have a valid score of NTA JEE Main 2024. If any seat remains vacant after the completion of counselling, those seats will be filled based on 10+2 scores of the candidates.
The candidates who have valid JEE Main scores have to complete MP BE counselling registration first. MP BE counselling is held online for admission to BE/BTech courses offered by Government / Autonomous / Aided / Self-Financing / Private Institutions located in Madhya Pradesh.

What is MP DTE/MP BE 2024?
Madhya Pradesh’s Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) offers MP BE Counselling to several participating colleges in the state that offer undergraduate engineering courses. Candidates will be admitted to various MP BE participating colleges based on their performance in the JEE Main and qualifying examinations (class 10+2).
DTE MP 2024 Eligibility
The MP DTE 2024 qualifying conditions are listed below-
- The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
- To be eligible to apply, candidates must take the JEE Main and pass the entrance exam.
- To be considered for admission, a candidate must have finished class XII or an equivalent examination from the Madhya Pradesh Secondary Board or any recognized board.
- Candidates in the General category must have a minimum of 45 percent in class XII, while SC/ST aspirants must have a minimum of 40 percent.

MP DTE Counselling 2024 Admission Process

- Registration- In July, application forms will be made available online, and applicants must register on the official website.
- Choice Filling- Fill in the blanks with the college and course preferences.

The following are the steps to apply for DTE MP counseling 2024-
- Visit the DTE MP online counseling website.
- Now, click the “Go for Counseling” button.

DTE MP Counselling 2024 Fees

MP DTE Counselling 2024: Seat Allotment Process
The allotment letter will be made available in the first week of November 2024 . Candidates may view their seat allotment results by going to the official website and logging in using their registered credentials. The seat allotment letter will be distributed based on the JEE Main 2024 results. The seat allotment after upgrading is announced online.
The seat allotment process for MP B.E admissions consists of many steps, which are detailed below-
- Common Merit List: The DTE MPh will publish the Common Merit List of applicants who are eligible for B.E admission in the state. The name of the candidate, JEE Main Roll Number, Category, and Merit Number will appear on the common merit list. These candidates will be admitted to the B.E program depending on their merit.
- Provisional Seat Assignment Letter Publication: DTE MP will post the seat allotment letter on the official website within a few days following the release of the common merit list. If the candidates are pleased with their seat allocation, they can download the seat allotment letter.
- Seat Upgradation: Candidates who want to upgrade their seats should re-submit the choice input form on the official website. Students will have two opportunities to enhance their existing allotment. The seat allocation will be released on time.
- Reporting to Institution: Following seat assignment, aspirants must download the seat allotment letter and go to the corresponding engineering college with all the required documentation.
- Document Verification: To confirm admission, college officials will verify the candidates’ documentation.
- Admission Confirmation: After document verification, candidates admission will be confirmed, and they must pay the first-year B.E fee by the deadline given by the institution.
