CSAB 2022 – Central Seat Allocation Board conducts CSAB 2022 to provide admissions into the participating institutes (IIITs, NITs, and GFTIs) on the basis of JEE Main scores. The CSAB NEUT 2022 registration and choice filling has started. The CSAB 2022 registration for special round will begin from October 26. The exam authorities will allot seats to the registered candidates as per their JEE Main merit, preferences, and availability of seats. The CSAB 2022 seat allotment will be conducted separately for three channels of admissions.
CSAB 2022 will be conducted separately for the three channels – CSAB NEUT( North-Eastern states and Union Territories), CSAB UT (supernumerary seats in the Union Territories), and CSAB SFTI (Self-financed technical institutes). Apart from JoSAA – 2022 rounds, CSAB – 2022 is also responsible for the following centralized seat allocation processes.
1. CSAB Special Rounds: Upon completion of JoSAA – 2022 rounds, if any seats remain vacant in the NIT+ system (excluding seats of IITs), two special rounds called CSAB Special Rounds are conducted by the CSAB – 2022 through its own online portal CSAB
2. CSAB Supernumerary Round: The CSAB Supernumerary round counselling is conducted by CSAB – 2022 through its online portal (https://csab.nic.in) for admission to supernumerary seats in selected NITs (NIT Durgapur, NIT Calicut, SVNIT Surat) for candidates with state of eligibility as Union Territories of Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Lakshadweep & Kandvi, and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
3. CSAB NEUT Rounds: CSAB – 2022 also conducts CSAB NEUT rounds through its online portal CSAB to allocate seats of AICTE approved Institutes under the scheme of “Reservation of seats in Degree Level Technical Courses for States / UTs lacking such facilities in the AICTE-approved institutions” to candidates of the North-Eastern states and Union Territories.

CSAB NEUT 2022
Candidates who meet the necessary eligibility can apply for CSAB NEUT 2022 (for North-Eastern States and Union Territories). The admission process will be conducted to provide B.Tech seats for candidates belonging to 12 North-East states and UTs (Assam, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Sikkim, Tripura, Nagaland, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Lakshadweep, and Daman & Diu).

CSAB NEUT Eligibility Criteria 2022
The exam authorities has release the eligibility criteria of CSAB NEUT 2022 for all candidates. Those who dodn’t meet the criteria will lead to the disqualification of the candidates.

CSAB NEUT Seat Allotment 2022
Candidates can follow the procedures below for seat allotment through CSAB NEUT 2022. They have to be registered and complete the procedure within the specified time.
- Registration – Candidates will have to go to the official website and use their JEE Main 2022 application form number and password for registration purposes.
- Filling & choices locking – Next, they will have to choose their choice of colleges/institutes and courses for admissions. The final selection has to be in the order of preference. All of the choices have to be checked and locked before the last date. Changes can’t be done after the choices are locked by the candidates.
- Seat allotment – Candidates can check their seat allotment in online mode only. The seat allotment result will be published by the exam authorities through the official website. Allotment of seats will be done based on their merit, choices, and seat availability. Candidates will have to download their allotment letter in PDF format.
- Document verification – Finally, they will have to report to their allotted institute and verify their original documents. The allotted seats have to be confirmed by paying the required counselling fee.
CSAB Special Round 2022 – NITs, IIITs and GFTIs
The registration, fee payment and choice filling for admission through the CSAB 2022 for special round NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs will open in online mode. CSAB Special Round 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates will have to satisfy some terms and conditions admissions will be found in the eligibility criteria of CSAB 2022 special round. Candidates will have to meet the following eligibility criteria to participate in the CSAB 2022 special round.
- He/She should have a valid JEE Main rank.
- The JoSAA 2022 eligibility criteria have to be met by the candidates.
- Those candidates who participate in JoSAA 2022 but fail to get allotted will be eligible for CSAB 2022 special round.
- It should be noted that those candidates who opted not to participate in the special round after JoSAA will not be eligible for CSAB 2022 special round admission procedure.
- Candidates who are allotted seats through JoSAA 2022 but not accepted their admission or canceled from their seats will also be eligible for CSAB 2022 special round.
CSAB Special Round 2022 Seat Allotment
In order to participate in the CSAB 2022 special round seat allotment, the candidates will have to follow the steps as under.
- Registration:
- The candidates will have to visit the official website and click on the registration link. (link will be updated)
- Using JEE Main 2022 application number and password, the candidates will have to register for CSAB 2022 special round.
- The documents have to be uploaded as specified by the exam authorities.
- Fee Payment: Candidates will have to pay the necessary fee through online mode only (SBI MOPS payment gateway).
- Filling and Locking of Choices: They will have to choose their choice of institutes/colleges and courses in order of preference. After the choices are confirmed, they will have to lock and submit them.
- Seat Allotment Declaration:
- The registered candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of their JEE Main merit, preferences, and availability of seats.
- The seat allotment result of the CSAB 2022 special round has been released in online mode.
- The selected candidates will have the option to either freeze, float, or cancel their allotted seat.
- Seat Allotment Confirmation: Candidates need to confirm their allotted seats by paying the required admission fees.
- Online Reporting: Using JEE Main 2022 credentials, the allotted candidates will also have to complete online reporting and confirm their allotted seats. They need to upload the required documents.

CSAB UT 2022
CSAB UT 2022 will be conducted to give admissions to the candidates who have the state eligibility of Union Territories (Damn & Diu, Andaman & Nicobar, Dadar & Nagar Haveli, and Lakshadweep & Khandvi). The CSAB UT 2022 application form will be available from the second week of August tentatively. Candidates who are not allotted during JoSAA but If meet the criteria will have a chance of admission through CSAB UT 2022.

CSAB UT (Supernumerary) Eligibility Criteria 2022
There are many criteria that the candidates will have to satisfy to be eligible for CSAB UT 2022. The exam authorities will release the criteria for all candidates who wish to participate in the admission process. Candidates should satisfy the following CSAB UT 2022 eligibility criteria which have to be satisfied by the candidates.
- Candidates must be within the state code of eligibility.
- It is important that they should not have been allotted till the special vacant seat filling round OR They should not have reported for any allotment during JoSAA rounds OR They should have reported after allotment to the reporting centre but withdrew till the final round of JoSAA.
- Those candidates who reported for their allotted seat at the centres but their seat was cancelled due to change in the category and are still unallotted will also be eligible.
- Candidates who have paid the initial fee and reported for the allotment to the reporting centre but did not report to the allotted institute till the last date will also be eligible for CSAB NEUT 2022.
- Initial Fee – Gen/OBC NCL candidates – Rs.35000 and for SC/ST/Gen-PWD/OBC NCL PwD/SC PwD or ST PwD candidates – Rs.15000.
Candidates who meet the factors given below will not be considered eligible for admissions through CSAB UT 2022:
- Those candidates who are allotted seats during JoSAA 2022 and also reported to the respective centres within the time period given by the exam authorities.
- Candidates who are allotted in the Special Vacant Seat Filling round will not be eligible for CSAB UT 2022, irrespective of whether they reported to their allotted institute or not.
CSAB UT (Supernumerary) Seat Allotment 2022
The detailed process CSAB UT 2022 seat allotment will include the following steps:
- Registration: The candidates will have to register for CSAB UT 2022 in online mode. The application form has to be filled with all of the necessary details. Submission of the application form has to be done before the last date as given by the exam authorities.
- Filling of Choices: Next, they will have to fill their choice of courses and institutes/colleges as per their preference.
- Seat Allotment: Candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of their JEE Main merit.
- Reporting at Allotted Institute: Finally, the candidates must report to the allotted college/institute directly and get their documents verified. The necessary fee has to be paid and the admissions have to be confirmed by the candidates.
CSAB SFTI 2022
CSAB SFTI 2022 will be conducted to provide admissions to eligible candidates into the participating institutes (Self Financed Technical Institutes). JEE Main scores will be taken into account while providing admissions. Registrations are expected to start in online mode only. However, CSAB SFTI was not conducted in the previous session due to a lack of participating institutes. No update regarding CSAB 2022 has been released by the authorities as of yet, so it may or may not be conducted for the present session.

CSAB SFTI Eligibility Criteria 2022
Candidates are advised to check the CSAB SFTI 2022 eligibility criteria before applying. If they are not able to satisfy the eligibility criteria, then they will be disqualified from the admission process. The eligibility criteria will be prescribed by the exam authorities after considering various parameters.
- Candidates should have qualified 10+2 or equivalent exam with at least 45% aggregate marks. SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD category candidates should have obtained at least 40% aggregate marks.
- He/She should have studied and passed each of the following subjects in the 10+2 or equivalent exam – Physics, Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subject/ Mathematics, any one language, and anyone other subjects.
- He/She should have a valid JEE Main Paper 1 rank.
Eligibility Criteria for B.Arch/B.Plan Admissions
- He/She should have qualified JEE Main Paper 2.
- They should have obtained aggregate marks of 50% in the 10+2 or equivalent examination.
- They must have studied Mathematics and they should have obtained minimum passing marks in each of the five subjects.

CSAB SFTI Seat Allotment 2022
Candidates applying for CSAB SFTI 2022 will have to check the following procedure for admissions.
- Payment of Fees:
- Initially, the candidates will have to log into their CSAB account using their JEE Main 2022 application number and password.
- Candidates need to pay the counselling fee of Rs.21000 through online mode (SBI Collect on State Bank of India portal).
- Registration: After the fee payment process is finished, the candidates will have to fill out the necessary details and register.
- Filling of Choices:
- All of the registered candidates will have to fill their choice of colleges and courses according to their preference.
- The final selection should be done in the order of preference. Candidates will be able to edit, rearrange and also change their selected preferences before locking and submitting them.
- Allotment of Seat:
- The candidates will be able to check the CSAB SFTI seat allotment result 2022 in online mode. The seat allotment will be done based on the JEE Main merit, preferences, and seat availability .
- The provisional seat allotment letter has to be downloaded and printed out by the candidates for future use.
- Reporting at Allotted Institute: Lastly, the candidates will have to report to their allotted institutes to confirm their admission. The remaining fee has to be paid by the candidates to confirm their admission and verification of documents will also be done by the authorities.
