NIT Uttarakhand Location
NIT UK is located on the banks of the Alaknanda River in Srinagar, which is 100 KM away from famous pilgrimages, Haridwar and Rishikesh. NIT UK is situated at NH 58, people can use various means of transportation to reach the Institute. The nearest Bus station is Rudraprayag Bus Stand, which is 35 km from the Institute, and the nearest railway station is Haridwar Railway Station. The nearest Airport is situated at Jolly Grant Airport, which is around 120 km from Srinagar where NIT Uttarakhand is situated. Taxis are also available from Rishikesh to Srinagr, it takes 3-4 hours to reach the campus.

NIT Uttarakhand Placements
As per the latest report, 74 job offers were rolled out during 2023 placements. The overall placement percentage for BTech and MTech stood at 79.49% and 45.45%, respectively. Out of 78 eligible BTech students, 62 were placed during NIT Uttarakhand placements 2023. The overall highest package offered was INR 21 LPA. Further, the overall NIT Uttarakhand average package stood at INR 11 LPA. CDoT, Publicis Sapient, and ThoughtSpot, among others were some of the prominent companies that participated in 2023 placements. According to NIT Uttarakhand Engineering NIRF report 2023, the median package offered during NIT Uttarakhand BTech and MTech placements 2022 stood at INR 6.8 LPA and INR 6.5 LPA, respectively.

NIT Uttarakhand Campus Facilities
National Institute of Technology (NIT) Uttarakhand provides many infrastructural facilities to the students. Infrastructural facilities enhance the reputation of an institute since students’ practical learning can be more generated with these facilities. They cater to the needs of students and staff. A good infrastructural facility can enhance the learning experience and environment of students pursuing academic studies in the respective institute or university. It levels up the performance of an institute. The details of the NIT Uttarakhand facilities are explained below in detail.
Boys Hostel National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand established in 2010 has currently seven hostels for boys in its temporary campus at Govt. Polytechnic, Srinagar (Garhwal) Uttarakhand. Based on the principle of “Homes away from home”, hostels available in the campus provide all the basic facilities to the students with proper care and tender of the administrative and supporting staff. Institute has residential facilities for eight hundred students in the campus. Institute has five boys hostels, having rooms available on sharing basis (four/six seater) accommodating maximum institute students in comfortable and conducive manner.
Girls Hostel National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand has two hostels for girls in its temporary campus at Govt. Polytechnic, Srinagar (Garhwal) Uttarakhand. Based on the principle of “Homes away from home”, hostels available on campus provide all the basic facilities to the students with proper care and tender of the administrative and supporting staff.
Library The library is equipped with e-books, journals, books, and much more. Research journals published by scholars around the world are also made available in the library for students and staff reference purposes. Internet connectivity is also provided in the library, and it is fully digitalised.
Auditorium The conference hall has a seating capacity of 70 people, and it is used for conducting seminars, conferences, and workshops. Important speakers or guest speakers conduct their seminars in this hall.
Sports Exercising and sporting activities help students to enhance their physical and mental health. Therefore, sports and gym facilities are provided by the institute to its students, and they are encouraged to make the fullest use of these facilities.
Medical/Hospital The institute provides proper medical facilities to students and staff in case of health emergencies. Medical officers and nurses are present in the medical office 24 hours to cater to the medical needs of the institute. Basic medical facilities are stacked up in the medical room for use.
NIT Uttarakhand Cutoff
JoSAA will release the NIT Uttarakhand JEE Main 2025 cutoff soon. The minimum rank students need to obtain to increase their chances of admission to various courses at the institute will be made available in JEE Main 2025 SVNIT Surat cutoff. The opening and closing ranks NIT Uttarakhand 2024 category wise will be provided through cutoff of NIT Hamirpur JEE Main Candidates who qualified the JEE Main 2025 exam will be eligible for counselling process.
