Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing, Kurnool, popularly known as IIITDM-K, was established in the year 2015 by the MHRD. The institute was formed to improve the competitiveness of Indian products in the global market by pursuing design and manufacturing-oriented engineering education. It aims at promoting innovation and research in its curriculum by providing undergraduate and doctoral courses with highly qualified teaching faculty. The college assures a 100% placement record.The IIITDM is only 6 years old, hence it doesn’t hold any ranking by the NIRF.
The institute is entirely funded by the Ministry of Education under the Government of India.
