IIT Bhubaneswar Placement 2025 has been one of its strongest placement seasons, with excellent results across B.Tech, Dual Degree and M.Tech programs. In B.Tech, 282 students participated and 254 were placed, achieving an impressive 90.07% placement rate, with the highest package touching ₹67.6 LPA. Branches like CSE, ECE, EE, ME, CE and MME reported strong average and median salaries, showcasing balanced performance across core and tech domains. The Dual Degree program also saw outstanding outcomes with CSE DD achieving 100% placement and Mechanical, Electrical and Civil branches delivering high median packages up to ₹32.9 LPA.

Girls Hostel Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar facilities includes one dedicated hostels for girls known as Subarnarekha hall of residence.
