IIT Kanpur Courses and Fees
IIT Kanpur accepts JEE Advanced and JEE Main scores for admission to BTech. Apart from its flagship program, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur also offers BSc, BS, MTech, MSc, MDes, MBA, along with a few Dual Degree programmes. Admission to all courses is based on scores obtained in the entrance examinations such as GATE, IIT JAM, CEED and CAT.

IIT Kanpur Placements
As per unofficial sources, 576 BTech and 247 MTech students were placed during the 2023-24 placements. The highest placement rate recorded in BTech was for the CSE branch and stood at 95.90%. In MTech, ME recorded the highest placement percentage of 84.40%. Furthermore, the IIT Kanpur CSE average package in BTech and MTech stood at INR 52.80 LPA and INR 24.70 LPA, respectively. The highest median package offered to BTech and MTech students during IIT Kanpur placements 2024 was INR 40.70 LPA and INR 27.50 LPA, respectively.
The institute has also released the MBA final placement report for 2022-24. The Kanpur average package and highest package offered to the MBA students were INR 18.20 LPA and INR 24 LPA, respectively. A total of 21 recruiters participated, including 11 new recruiters. Further, the median package and lowest package offered during IIT Kanpur MBA placements 2024 stood at INR 19.90 LPA and INR 12.50 LPA, respectively. Cognizant, Wells Fargo, Accenture and many other renowned companies participated in IIT Kanpur placements 2024. The summer placement report for the MBA batch 2023-25 has been released. IIT Kanpur Infrastructure Facilities
The college has a sprawling campus, spread over 420 hectares in Kalyanpur outskirts of Kanpur. IIT Kanpur provides in campus education and has around 108 buildings on the campus which come up with facilities that are ultramodern for the students. IIT Kanpur facilities and infrastructure include academic blocks, hostels for accommodation of the students that are separate for boys and girls, library, canteen, sports grounds, auditorium, reading lounge, computer centre, central workshop, liquid helium facility, Virtual Instrument Cell, Central Cryogenic Facility and more.
Apart from these IIT Kanpur facilities, the campus also has an IT infrastructure that is powerful which ensures that 24×7 connectivity of internet is available and is made accessible to faculties as well as students.
