NIT Meghalaya Campus Facilities
The university provide modern and upgraded facilities to students. NIT Meghalaya facilities include separate hostels for boys and girls with a mess, wi-fi, gym and sports equipment. The university has a doctor who visits the campus thrice a week. NIT Meghalaya campus has a central library with an ample number of text and reference books and electronic resources.
Other NIT Meghalaya facilities like banking, book shops and post office are available within one kilometre of the academic campus. There is a canteen located on the academic campus that offers delicious meals and snacks. The availability of these facilities provides students with everything they need and make their life on the campus convenient.
Boys Hostel There are five boys hostels at the campus. The total accommodation capacity of boys hostels is 464. For the convenience of students, basic facilities such as mess, gym, wifi etc. are available at boys hostels. 
Girls Hostel NIT Meghalaya has two individual hostels for girls. The combined accommodation capacity of both hostels is 140. The rooms of girls hostels are well-furnished and offer a comfortable stay to students. 
Medical/Hospital NIT Meghalaya has arranged for a doctor’s visit on the campus thrice a week. The university has a pact with a reputed hospital of the state to treat students, staff and faculty members.
Library The central Library houses the popular titles in Engineering, Technology, Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences and Management to enrich the students with requisite knowledge and expertise. It has a rich collection of around text and reference books and electronic resources. In addition to this, the Library provides access to the Digital Library of ACM, IEEE and ASME.
