Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET), is a state-level entrance test used to select applicants for admission to engineering and pharmacy programs at various colleges throughout Maharashtra. The exam is conducted every year by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell. The authority will conduct the MHT CET exam in online mode.
The Maharashtra CET Cell has not released the MHT CET Application form 2026. Candidates can apply online using the MHT CET 2026 Application form link available on this page or through MHT CET official website cetcell.mahacet.org. MHT CET 2026 Registration date is December 2025 to February 2026. MHT CET Registration 2026 last date with late fee is February 2026. MHT CET 2026 exam date PCM and PCB groups have not been announced.

Important points related to the MHT CET 2026 exams are
- The questions in MHT CET 2026 will be based on the class 11 and 12 syllabus prescribed by the State Council of Educational Research and Training, Maharashtra
- Approximately 20% weightage will be given to the class 11 syllabus and 80% weightage to the class 12 syllabus while setting the question paper
- There will be NO Negative Marking in MHT CET but the difficulty level of the exam will be similar to JEE Mains.
- MHT CET 2026 PCM exam will consist of 2 sections, each of which will be 100 marks. The first section will be on Mathematics and the second section of Physics and chemistry. Similarly, In the PCB exam, the first section will be Biology and the second section of Physics and Chemistry.
- The question paper will be set on the complete syllabus of class 12 while only a few topics listed below will be considered for the exam.

MHT CET 2026 Exam Day Guidelines:
MHT cell will release the exam day guidelines for MHT CET 2026 along with the admit card details on the official website. MHT CET 2026 exam day guidelines need to be followed by every student who is appearing for the exam.
- Candidates must have their MHT CET admit card 2026 with them along with a valid ID proof as per the guidelines for exam day in order to enter the CET examination hall.
