Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) conducts its own online entrance exam to offer admissions to candidates in the programmes that it has on offer. The Manipal Entrance Test (MET) exam, was earlier, known as Manipal University Online Entrance Exam (MU-OET). Programmes on offer for admissions at Manipal University include – MBBS, MD, MS, PG Medical Diploma, MSc (in many disciplines), MPhil, DM, Bachelor of Audiology & Speech Pathology (BASLP), Bachelor of Cardiovascular Technology (BSc CVT), BSc (in many disciplines), Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), BTech (in many disciplines), MTech (in many disciplines), MSc (in many disciplines), BArch, BDes, BA, MA and the likes.
MET 2026 exam is considered to be less dificult in comparison to engineering entrances like JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Candidates with a score of 180 out of total 240 is considered with a good MET 2026 score. MET cut off 2026 marks depends on paper difficulty, number of intakes available in a particular college.

MET 2026 Important Instructions
- Students have to take a printout of the MET/ MET admit card and bring the same to the examination center.
- Candidates are required to show their admit card along with a photo id proof i.e. Driving License/ Aadhar Card/ Voter ID/ Passport etc. in original to the invigilator when asked for.
- Students who are appearing for MET Exam in particular locations outside India, need to pay an additional fee at the time of taking the test at the test center.
- Candidates are allowed to leave the examination center only after final exam submission.
- Use of Electronic devices such as Bluetooth devices, microphones, calculator etc is strictly prohibited in the test center.
- Reasonable basic knowledge of computers on the part of the candidate is assumed.
- After the allotment of a computer system, check whether the system provided is working or not. In case it is not working, immediately contact the invigilator and report the issue.
