- The hostel fee also includes annual laundry services (44 washes per academic year).

VITEEE Counselling Process
VIT Vellore conducts the VITEEE 2023 counselling in online mode. Thus, candidates should be aware of the process that they will have to follow in order to participate in the VIT counselling for B.Tech as explained below:
- Step 1 – Check VITEEE rank – As the authorities have released the VITEEE counselling dates 2023 based on the range of ranks obtained by candidates, it is necessary for them to be aware of the rank secured in the exam. VITEEE 2023 results will be announced along with the rank list.
- Step 2 – Registration – As the VITEEE counselling 2023 is conducted in online mode, candidates have to complete online registration. At this time, candidates have to fill out the form and express the category, their preference of course, and campus.
- Step 3 – Verification of Documents – Candidates need to upload certain documents in order to prove their eligibility for admission through VITEEE. Check the instructions properly regarding this before proceeding to the VIT Counselling venue.
- Step 4 – Allotment of Seats – Once the documents are verified, candidates will be allotted seats for VIT B.Tech admission based on their ranks and preferences filled by them.
- Step 5 – Payment of Fee – After acceptance of the seat so allotted during VITEEE 2023 counselling, candidates will be required to pay the relevant admission fees at the campus to confirm their admissions. A demand draft of Rs. 50,000 has to be drawn in favor of “Vellore Institute of Technology” payable at Vellore. It may be noted that of the total amount, Rs. 11,800 will be the VITEEE 2023 counseling fee which shall be non-refundable.
Documents Required during VIT Counselling 2023 for B.Tech
Candidates need to carry the following documents while going to report for verification of documents during VITEEE counselling 2023:
- VITEEE Admit Card 2023.
- VITEEE Result.
- Class 10 board passing certificate or any other certificate to prove the age of the candidate.
- Class 12 board mark sheet or passing certificate.
- Class 12 hall ticket (For candidates awaiting results).
- Qualifying examination mark sheet (if available).
- Community Certificate (for SC/ST candidates).
- Demand draft of Rs. 50,000 drawn in favor of “Vellore Institute of Technology” payable at Vellore.
- For Hostel – Demand draft of Rs. 21,000 drawn in favor of “Vellore Institute of Technology” payable at Vellore.
- Nativity Certificate (for candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura).

VIT Vellore Campus Facilities
The university campus is spread over a wide area of 372 acres. The university has a wide range of facilities. VIT Vellore facilities are provided for both students and faculty members. The varsity has separate hostels for boys and girls students. A modern gym and well-stocked library is also present at the campus.
Further, VIT Vellore has modern classrooms equipped with the latest technology. Students can also avail indoor and outdoor sports facilities at the campus. Vellore Institute of Technology facilities list also includes wifi, cafeteria, IT infrastructure, medical centre, auditorium, swimming pool. guest house and transportation services. The details of VIT Vellore facilities are mentioned below:
Boys Hostel The university has a total of 18 hostels for boys students. VIT Vellore boys hostels can accommodate around 1300 students. The hostels have single, double sharing, triple sharing etc. rooms for students. All basic facilities are available at boys hostels.
Girls Hostel Vellore Institute of Technology has 6 hostels for accommodation of girls students. As many as 4300 students can be accommodated in girls hostels. A well equipped gym and modern swimming pool is present inside hostel premises. 
Medical/Hospital A well-equipped health centre with 24*7 facilities for students is present at the campus. The medical centre of the varsity is run by the Chettinad Medical Group.
Gym There are two gyms at the campus, one for boys and one for girls students. Both the gyms have modern equipment to ensure students are able to achieve their dream physique. 
Library The central library of VIT Vellore is a six stoery building. It is spread over an area of 7770 square meters. Students can find books, journals, research papers, publications etc. at the campus. Further, the library also has e-books, CDs and DVDs for students. The Central Library subscribes to national and international journals in print and e-Journals. The library has a video conferencing facility and NPTEL video courses.
Sports For students who are interested in sports, the university has facilities for indoor and outdoor sports. The university conducts sports tournaments at regular intervals for students. Students are encouraged to participate in sports events. 
I.T Infrastructure The varsity has modern computing and IT communication services for the students. Entire campus of VIT Vellore has modern IT infrastructure. 
Cafeteria Vellore Institute of Technology has three canteens present at three prime places in the campus. All three canteens are contracted with external caterers and provide quality food at pocket friendly costs.
Auditorium VIT Vellore facilities also consists of an auditorium. The modern auditorium hosts various national and international seminars, webinars etc. The auditorium is spacious and can accommodate a large number of students. 
Transport Facility The varsity has buses for transportation of students, staff and faculty members. The buses covers major areas of the city. Students are required to minimal sum to avail transportation services. 
Alumni Associations The VIT Alumni Association has been envisaged to foster a closely knit network bridging the gap between young budding VITians and the accomplished Alumni. Our Alumni have made us proud time and again by achieving laurels round the globe and we wish to showcase the same to our entire VIT family.
Swimming Pool The campus also has a swimming pools for students. Separate pool for boys and girls are present within university premises. Both swimming pools are of international standard. Swimming trainers are also there to train students. 
Classrooms The classrooms are spacious and equipped with the latest technology such as projectors, audio-visual equipment etc. VIT Vellore classrooms are also used for seminars and webinars. The modern classrooms allows effective teaching and learning. 
Guest Room/Waiting Room To accommodate the visiting faculty and family members of students, the university has a well-maintained guest house. 
Wifi Vellore Institute of Technology has wifi for students and faculty members. The wifi is available in every part of the campus. Students can even access wifi in hostels.
